My stay at H Boutique Hotel Xplorer Cheras was a bit of a mixed bag. The room was surprisingly spacious and affordable, yet there were significant cleanliness issues that dampened the experience. While the staff were helpful, I faced several inconveniences during my stay that could use improvement.
The room's size was impressive, and I loved the overall design. However, I encountered some cleanliness issues, like stained bedding and insects. The lack of basic amenities like a mirror in the room was also a drawback.
Though the staff were quite helpful, I often found them to be a bit defensive. I had to repeatedly request room cleaning, which was frustrating. It would be great if they improved customer service.
The hotel is conveniently located near various restaurants and shopping, which made exploring easier. Being close to the MRT station was a plus for my travels around the city.
There were dining options nearby, including a Mamak stall and a chicken rice restaurant, which was nice. I just wished the hotel had more dining facilities on-site.
While I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff and the spacious rooms, the lack of basic facilities like an intercom or a reliable TV was disappointing. The room also needed better cleanliness.

The room I got was huge for under RM 100, which was definitely a plus. But, it didn't have proper ventilation, and I had to deal with cleanliness issues during my stay.

The hotel's location was solid, surrounded by numerous restaurants and just an 8-minute walk to Aeon Maluri, which was totally convenient.
With a Mamak stall and a Chicken rice restaurant downstairs, I had some decent meal options within walking distance.
While I appreciated the creative design, the lack of basic features like a water dispenser on every floor and adequate room cleaning really affected my stay.
